2024 Ferrasci Park LL Baseball

Tee-Ball (Ages 4-6)

Player ages are 4-6 years old.
This is an instructional program for the beginning baseball player.
At this level, players will learn the fundamentals of baseball which include hitting, throwing, fielding, and base running.
Players hit off a tee at this level.

PeeWee (Ages 6-8)

Player ages are 6-8 years old.
This is an instructional program which follows our Tee-ball division.
Players should play at least one year in Tee-Ball before entering our PeeWee division.
All players at this level must attend one evaluation to ensure each player is placed in the proper division.
This program helps players build on fundamentals which were taught at the Tee-ball level which include hitting, throwing, fielding, and base running.
Players will be introduced to pitching and catching at this level.
The first half of this program will be coach pitch. The second half of the season will be player pitch.
Players will be introduced to baseball rules which include strikeouts and defensive outs in this division.

Minors (Ages 8-11)

This division is for players ages 8-11.
All players at this level must attend one tryout for evaluation in order to be placed on a team.
Players will build on the fundamentals they've learned in both Tee-ball and PeeWee divisions which include hitting, throwing, fielding, and base running.
This is a player pitch division.
Pitching distance is 46' with 60' bases.
Players will be taught the fundamentals of pitching and catching.
This is a competitive division.
Players at this level have the opportunity to play on a tournament team at the end of the season.

Majors (Ages 10-12)

This division is for players ages 10-12.
All players at this level must attend one tryout for evaluation in order to be placed on a team.
Players will build on the fundamentals they've learned in the Minor division which include hitting, throwing, fielding, base running, pitching, and catching.
This is a player pitch division.
Pitching distance is 46' with 60' bases.
This is a competitive division.
Players at this level have the opportunity to play on a tournament team at the end of the season.
Players at this level also may qualify to play in the 11-12 year old All Star tournament, which then has the opportunity to advance to the Little League World Series in Williamsport.

50/70 (Age 13)

This division is for players ages 13 only.
All players at this level must attend one tryout for evaluation in order to be placed on a team.
Players will build on the fundamentals they've learned in the Major division which include hitting, throwing, fielding, base running, pitching, and catching.
This is a player pitch division.
Pitching distance is 50' with 70' bases.
Games are played at local neighboring fields with the proper dimensions.
This is a competitive division which allows players coming from the Major division to prepare for the Junior level.
Players at this level have the opportunity to play on a tournament team at the end of the season.
This division is currently offered, however not guaranteed as we must confirm number of registrants is enough to form a team.

Juniors (Ages 13-14)

This division is for players ages 13-14.
All players at this level must attend one tryout for evaluation in order to be placed on a team.
Players will build on the fundamentals they've learned in the Major division which include hitting, throwing, fielding, base running, pitching, and catching.
This is a player pitch division.
Pitching distance is 60' with 90' bases.
Games are played on local high school fields as well as other neighboring baseball fields with the proper dimensions.
This is a competitive division which is designed to help prepare our players to play at the high school level.
Players at this level have the opportunity to play on a tournament team at the end of the season.

Everyone plays! Try Outs are for evaluation purposes only.

*Please note, there will be a small processing fee added on to your total for online registration.

To Register: You must download and fill out a Player Registration Form, Medical Release Form, Parent/Athlete Concussion Consent Form, Covid Consent Form, and 2024 Ferrasci Park LL Refund Policy Form in order for your registration to be complete. A 2023 Volunteer form is required if you would like to volunteer as a Manager, Coach, or Team Mom. Please see the Forms tab on our website to download these forms.

You must also upload player's birth certificate and 3 proofs of address verification (3 groups required). Suggested proofs are drivers license, utility bill, and home mortgage or rent statement. Address proofs must be dated between 2/1/2023-2/1/2024. Please see Residency Eligibility Requirements under our Forms tab for a complete list of acceptable documents. Your registration will not be complete until all required forms are received!
